A Fine Frenzy (a.k.a. Alison Sudol) is one of those underrated acts in music today. I really don’t get why she’s not effin’ famous. She writes great tunes, with excellent lyrics. It also doesn’t hurt that she has one of the most beautiful voices AND faces in music today. Her music could move you emotionally and also make you move, literally. A Fine Frenzy creates albums that resonate of the range of human emotion: fun, pain, whimsy, sorrow, loss, hope, peace and love. About to release her third album, her recording achievements have never been recognized by the industry. So what? I am happy she doesn’t bother. :D
Because of this, I celebrate her career by sharing one of her most underrated songs ever, New Heights, from her second album, Bomb in a Birdcage.
