I read somewhere that Sufjan Stevens was depressed and ill when he was working with his album, The Age of Adz. The album was proof that, indeed, in trials and tribulations, people create the best art. I didn’t mean to be distasteful when I said that, but it’s true, to some extent. Come on, Adele’s 21 was built by a bad break-up. 

The song, Age of Adz, is the best song to represent this album. It doesn’t have a hook, neither is it radio friendly. However, try to listen it on your home system, you will feel the pangs of struggle and then hope that Mister Stevens experienced in his life. I am thankful for the sonic journey. :D
