Postal Service is one of those once in a lifetime acts: They make great music, but you also know they won’t last for long. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. The rarity just generates magic, a certain elusiveness that makes us dissect the music. Indeed, that’s what happened. Some hipsters decided to rip them off (oh you know whom I am taking about). While others, like The Shins, decide to pay homage to an act as stellar as Halley’s Comet. This is The Shin’s version of We Will Become Silhouettes. This song is respect in its purest form. :)
